Hello,

Can anyone recommend a source for buying a slot cutter bit for use with a router for T Molding in the U.K.?.

Minwah:

www.screwfix.com

Make sure you buy the arbor (arbour?), blade and bearings.  Sorry I don't have any part no's, but make sure you get the correct cutting depth (difference between size of blade and size of bearings), and 1/16" slot width (assuming you're using the most common size t-molding).  Oh, and the arbor size you get will be determined by your router...

i bought mine from t-molding.com

OK fellas, I also need a slot cutter for T-molding but I don't fancy spending 20 quid on a tool that I'll use for 1/2 hour then never use again, and it seems pointless for everyone else to do that too!

So do any of you kind people fancy lending yours out?! I don't mind paying you something for using it either, maybe a fiver or something?

Well if nobody wants to do that then maybe I'll _have_ to get one, and then maybe I could lend it out for

Thanks for your replies.

Screwfix was my first port of call but I could not find the items on their website. To be honest I bought a Bosch router from Homebase a few weeks ago specifically for this purpose and never having used one before I do not really know what I am looking for. I looked on t-molding.com website and they have the cutter, arbor and bearing all in one price for around $28 but unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment.
