Buick455:
ok just a few ?'s about the actlabs light gun.. i have a Monivision SK5952 29 direct view monitor http://www.monivision.com/monitors.html# this thing is concidered a monitor/tv. which light gun do i need for this monitor, TV or PC? will it work for my NES, SNES, Gen, ect emulators? have u got the same setup (monitor/emulators) and have any problems? TIA |
TacoTownCharlie:
I have a Mitsubishi monitor like yours and an Act Labs light gun. If you are going to use the VGA output from your computer, then get the PC light gun. If you are going to use S-Video out, then get the TV gun. It should work fine with any emulator that accepts mouse input, which is how the light gun looks to your computer |
Buick455:
ok cool thats what i was figuring, plus im more likely to use the PC gun then a TV one if i ever ditch mame, (highly unlikely) lol. but the new question is if it uses the mouse input for mame, does that mean my trackball will have to be disconected for use. a little more confused now |
menace:
If you run analog+ mame it will recognize multiple mice inputs. For instance my light guns are mouse 1 and mouse 2 and the spinners are mice 3 and 4. With the optipac it makes it easier as when i'm not using the spinner, the trackball becomes mouse 4. |
