Thats 6 total plugging into jammaplus and 14 regular jamma connections total. There are a bunch of wires plugged into the jamma harness that go nowhere (just hanging there. I noticed the player 2 start button is not attached to anything at all.

Q1.Should I plug it into the jamma plus screw terminals on the jpac and program it in?
Q2. Where should the coin door wires be going to and how many are there. There are a bunch of wires on the coin door and a bunch go to a weird connector.

The 1 and 2 player coin door and start buttons are part of the JAMMA standard so as long as they are going to the correct pins as per the pinout Oscar posted then you should have no reason to use the screw terminals on the J-PAC for anything other than the extra game buttons.  Don't go reprogramming your J-PAC and wiring to it unecessarily.  Solder the wires to the correct pins on the JAMMA connector and keep it nice and simple.  If you can't or don't want to go soldering then sure use the screw terminal and reprogram.

I'm wondering if the wierd connector on the coin door harness is the credit board harness for a coin mech.  That's what mine had but it still all wnt to the JAMMA harness from there.

I cut all the wires from the coin door area. I am going to but a switch there that will credit BOTH players when ya put it in. (similar to someone elses cab)

Why would you do that?  What if you want to play a one player game?  I suppose then you'd just have two credits then.  Never mind.
