Did the box your tv came have svideo printed on it anywhere? What make/model is your tv? Check to see if the manufacturer has a website and search by the model number. Svideo is a multi conductor cable. I don't have an svideo cable in front of my, so i don't know how many pins. Svideo cables usually have a yellow jacket on the end informing that it is a video cable. composite cables: you can get the "joined" cable with 2 ends on each. again the video connector will be yellow, audio will be white if its a mono cable. component: Red Green Blue. your video cables will have red, green and blue cables. Additionally, each different cable type allows for better video display. component being best, svideo second, and thirdly, composite been the lesser of the 3. Along with the cable connectors each type of video signal allows for different resolutions and such. |
