I never understood how people/companies could sell cabs like that for more than $2500 or maybe $3000 (i'd say it's value is at most $2000 so add $1000 markup and more than that is just crazy) But then there are several companies selling cabs like this for up to $5000. Who on earth buys stuff like that? Of course this one (at $8000) is even more ludicrous, but I think all the prices of the prefab cabs are way outrageous too. If you don't have the time to build one yourself, take the project arcade book to a carpenter and let them put together the cab. Put a computer in it and you're all set. |

I never understood how people/companies could sell cabs like that for more than $2500 or maybe $3000 I'm not saying that $8,000 is a fair price, but I think you guys are discounting the cost of investment (e.g. labor, tools, capital outlays etc.) way too much. I can't see how anybody could sell a cabinet like that for less than $3-4k and hope to make any money as an ongoing business. |

That is psychotically overpriced. I can't imagine people would buy something like that. It's totally ridiculous!! |

Hey guys at $8000 per cabinet. I'd be willing to take a class to learn woodworking and start making my own Ms. Pacman cabinets. ;) |
