Crazy Kong Junior (PICTURES ADDED)

I, like anyone would love to give back to the MAME community, and i am very seriously considering dumping it, I just didn't want to shoot myself in the foot before doing so.  At the time I really didn't know what dumping entailed, just the word "dumping" doesn't really sound very positive off the bat. Now that I have read up on it, it sounds like a pretty safe process, and I will contact randy hoffman in the near future.

For someone going into college, and only having a part-time job, anything involving money I look at very carefully. It might sound snobby at times, but I'm just being careful.

I do thank everyone severly for helping me with this particular cabinet, along with other questions I've had. You are all very helpful and kind people. I will keep you posted on any decisions i make concerning the cabinet.

Just to let all of you know I sent randy an email, and I will get it dumped if the terms are reasonable.

Not trying to be a party pooper here, but whats the big deal with this game? Like the first Crazy Kong, its just a crummy bootleg of an existing game. Colors are different, music is mangled, and levels are in a different order.

Sure, I'd like to see it MAME'd just for archival sake, but it's not like we're seeing anything rare in the context of the Atari prototypes.
It's doubtful this machine is even as valuable as a real DK Jr to a collector. ???

Hehe atta boy.  I honestly suggest that you work it so that you keep that cab, as you -may- regret selling it later, as we all envy a guy with a one-of-a-kind cabinet.  But DO have them dump it...what happens if your board craps (no pun intended) out on you, and there are no copies of the roms to make new chips?   Just a thought :)

I'm almost certain I won't keep it because realistically I won't really get much out of it. I mean I love that I found, or stumbled upon a rare cabinet but if I do keep it,  it will probably just sit in my basement. It should be in someones collection that really appreciates it and is actually going to use it.
