Crazy Kong Junior (PICTURES ADDED)

Thanks.
It's always nice to see something I haven't seen before.

thanks so much for posting these pics. my imagination has been running wild thinking about how the cab might look.
the cab has a lot more artwork than i expected. the control panel graphic even looks like it was silkscreened. top notch stuff :)
now i wonder how much different the gameplay and graphics are compared to the original dk junior.
keep us posted on what you do with the cab. If you end up parting it out i am interested in buying the marquee.
please dont sell the pcb until randy hoffman contacts you about borrowing the boards to get the roms dumped.
g1275:
With dumping, do I get the pcb back?
and will it be able to work with the cabinet anymore?
I have no idea what dumping entails.
NoOne=NBA=:
Yes, to both questions.
Dumping is basically just "reading" what's on the chips, much like you would with a disk.
The chips on the PCB are memory chips, but are permanently burned with data in given spots.
If you have the (really expensive) equipment to do it, you can get a bit-by-bit read of what is contained on each chip at each memory location.
That is the program that makes each game unique.

from what i understand they plug the pcb into something and it copies the data from the roms onto a pc. there is no harm done to the pcb and it is exactly the same as before. they will even pay for your shipping costs and ship it right back to you afterwards. you could ask to have your nickname posted on the crazyjunior mameinfo.dat as the contributor. your name will be in mame forever.
