I have been able to figure out some optic boards from similar pictures by tracing the circuitboard and seeing which ones go to the resistor: http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=9837;start=msg73421#msg73421 --- End quote --- heh...glad to know i've contributed at least a little to this hobby that benefits everyone else ;D |

I got an Arkanoid spinner recently in a box of parts. It looks good, but it buzzes like mad. I don't remember it doing that when I played it at the pizza place unless you spun it really hard (like when you were heading for that warp/exit thing on the side). Is my memory messed up, or is something out of whack with this spinner? Were the gears lubricated or anything? |

I have one too. It does pretty much the same thing. You have to remember that when installed in a solid commercial quality cabinet, the control panel dampened much of the noise. On the other hand, it could certainly use a cleaning + re-lube. |

Mine's already really clean- like mabye it was never even used. But there's no sign of ANY lube on it... that's what I was wondering about. Where did you lube yours, on the gears, the shafts, or both? What did you lube with? Thanx! |
