I'm pretty sure he means to glue your wires down on a patch near the solder point, but not right on top. That way you can secure your wires and still have access the solder point should you need to fix or add to it in the future. |

It can hide a poor soldering job that will eventually break loose and because of all the hot glue, be irrepairable. Hot glue on wires a short distance away from the joint to provide immobilization of the wires is a good thing :) RandyT |
