larger attachment pic size

in paint shop pro, when you go to save them as .jpgs.. click on the 'run optimiser' button. you can then select the level of compression... you can get a full screen photo down to about 50k with hardly any visual loss :)

If anything 250k is too much, posting huge files ups the sites monthly bandwidth which causes Saint more hassles, not to mention people with slow internet connections. I always try to keep my files under 50k in file size and under 600x600 pixels, this makes life easy for everyone.

i know how it feels, i also have aa 28kbps connection  :'( . thanks for all the suggestiosns. i will run the optimizer thing. thanks

i realized my poblem: my pics were about 12 in by 9 in. i put down to about 4x3 and that solved the problem.
