Cheapest way to upgrade from WIN'98 to XP??

I'm a recent graduate of UTPA (another TX school) that bought WinXP directly from the campus bookstore for $6! I dn't know if you'll get the same deal at A&M, but I know it's substantial.
I can ask my CS-degree friend about it tomorrow at work if you like.

That would be cool! Can you ask? If it's worth it, I can find a few current students to get me the software. Thanks!

Ok I'll make a note to ask my friend tomorrow at work. He just finished getting a master's degree at A&M and he told me he had 2 copies... One through regular student channels and one through the CS department. I'll see what he has to say!

Some people sell their XP licenses because they decide to dump it for things like Linux.
