We're getting close now.... we painted and installed the sound-activated lights and t-molding this week. The paint still seems to be a leeeetle bit tacky, so I'm going to wait until tomorrow to wire up the buttons. We'll put the front door back on then, too.
So, more pics to follow soon, I guess.... :)

I have an observation on your marquee. The CJR ball is "glassy" while the rest of the marquee is decidedly NOT. I'm thinking either make the whole marquee glass-like or make the ball "flat". I would opt for the whole marquee to be glass-like, as that CJR ball looks phat!
If, after looking at it, you think I'm an idiot, then just tell me to blow it out of my nether region ;D but I really think you'll like it more if the whole thing is glass-like.
Pixel, if you read this, excellent work yet again and I'm sure the final version of the artwork will have everyone raving about yet another of your contributions.

Thats really coming together! The sound activated lighting is such a perfect touch.
Drew- I appreciate the feedback :) The rest of the marquee's glassiness is definitely hard to see when scaled down to fit in the post. Here's a close up (at actual size). The glassy neon tube will probably have a glow added around it in the final version. I'm currently working on side art that will include the ball and neon which will further tie the design together.

Droooool - the marquee looks better every time I see it! I think the neon and chrome in the artwork is going to set off the lights and t-molding perfectly.
I'm happy-dancing over here now... need music.... better go turn on the jukebox...
