Also you can disable most of the OK screens in mame in the ini file.

I am using the minipac ..Is there info on ultimarcs site to map a shift funcction? or is it easy enough for you to explain it to me?

Also How do I disable the ok screens in the mame ini file?

Thanks
ED

SirPoonga:

In the mame.ini file, skip_disclaimer and skip_warnings.

You can program the minipac with the ipac programming utility, right?  I thought you could.....

Ed ONeill:

Well I went to the game and went crazy I punched all type of button combos and I found the answer to one of my questions...If you press player1 and player2 simeltaneously it will return you back to the gamelist.

Is this what you are supposed to do or did I screw mame up..LOL

Now as for the progaming utility I am not sure if it uses that new program like the ipac .

Can anyone confirm if it is the same utility program as the ipac?

Thanks
Ed

Sounds like you have the jumper set to MAME therefore the player 1 start button is by default the shift button and player 2 shifted is escape ( hope that makes sense ). Try a few other combos like player 1 start and plyer 1 joystick down ( pretty sure that's pause ). There are many other combos or you can set the jumper to alt and program your own.

Yes the jumper is set to mame

Cool ...Thanks for the pause explanation

I didn't realize mame had this built in.  I thought it all had to be programed. Is there something I can read to learn about these commands.

Thanks
