| Lighting standard buttons and trackballs? |

Is it possible to light Happ microswitches and Ultimark trackballs from behind with LEDs? I am planning on buying blue buttons and a white trackball and lighting them from behind with some super bright blue LEDs I have. Thanks! :) |

That's how it's generally done. Some have installed a CP length neon tube in the CP but LED's would be a better if slightly more labour intensive option. |

I was wondering if they were constructed differently. Thanks for the help! :) |

I have 4 installed for the 4 credit buttons on my control panel. While a little bit smaller they will fit into the same drill size hole as a normal button. I really wouldn't use them for any of the "action" buttons though |

You can light an ultimarc trackball but I believe you need to replace the standard white ball with a translucent one. The standard white ball is opaque. |
