im considering building a machine as a project for my summer break. i got the ok from the old folks :p so i just have to get the pieces together now. im thinking of having it two player wish 6 buttons each, plus a 1 and 2 player start button. i wanna have a keyboard as well as the joysticks at the same time, so im not sure which would be the better way to go. would it be better to use a USB keyboard and use the keyboard port for the joysticks or just use the keyboard port for the joysticks and keyboard using a splitter? thx! Get a PS/2 keyboard encoder (for the controls) with a USB keyboard. |

:) thx question, tho. if im gonna be using both the ps2 keyboard input as well as a usb input, wont windows pose a problem for that since im sending keyboard "signals" from both usb and ps/2? thx again! |

The IPAC also has a keyboard pass-through on it, so if you go that route you can plug a keyboard into the IPAC, and the IPAC into your ps2 port. -Kevin |
