This how i did it and it made it much easier. For anything that was pretty flat I use a cirular saw raised up so that it only went into the particle board like 3/4" then i used the router just on bends that i couldn't get the skil saw in. It was ten times easier than trying to do it all free hand with a router. |

One other thing, that wasn't my idea to use the circular saw originally. Someone else had posted something about it and how easy it was. |

BTW, a Ryobi router at Home Depot costs less than buying a Dremel kit, router attachment, and router bits. |

as far as the dremel causing a HUGE mess when cutting mdf, thats very easily fixed if you have a shopvac, just have another person hold the shop vac near the dremel, you dont even have to be that close, me and a friend did it when it was about a foot away from the actual dremel, and NO mess at all... |

/\ Post reported Back on subject.... If I was you I would buy a router and the propper slotting bit. It will cost you slightly more $$$ but routers really are a versatile tool. I only bought a cheap one but its paid for itself 1000 times over. |
