| coin mech wires? |
| (1/1) |
| Mr. Dude:
I'm thinking of wiring up my coin mechs so I can order some tokens from this site and use them. I hope my question doesn't sound too dumb but is there any specific kind of wire I need to use? I know where I need to run them and solider them but I just don't know what kind of wire to buy. Thanks! |
| SirPeale:
Coin mechs are 100% mechanical, working on weights. No wiring necessary. You will, however, have to adjust for the diameter of the token, and the thickness. |
| Mr. Dude:
Sorry... I don't think I was clear enough. I wanted to know what kind of wire to use to connect the microswitch (N/O terminal and COM terminal) to the coin button I already have on my CP, so that when I insert a coin it is functional in the game I'm playing. I suppose it's just copper wire or something of that sort. |
| wj2k3:
Use the same wire you used for your other controls. |
| Mr. Dude:
That's what I figured, I just wanted to be 100% sure. Thanks guys! :) |
