Drunkatuw, Thanks for all the info. You're really helping me understand this, and yes, i did understand your daisy-chained dongle description! One last question. You said you use MAME, so i'm assuming your mean regular old command line MAME. Are you using a front end? If so, which one? I'm currently using MAME32, but I'd be happy to switch if there's something better out there! Thanks! |

"Daisy-chain" that's the word I had on the tip of my tongue just couldn't get it out :) !. To answer your question, yes, I use regular command line mame (for windows) with MAMEWAH as a front end. There are tons of front ends out there, but I tried MAMEWAH first and had no problems, so I've stuck with it and have no plans to change. I used mame32 when I played mame on my desktop PC, but once I had a cabinet, it was silly to use a mouse to select games...if you're paying for the joystick, might as well use it :) |
