The layout is pretty simple with a modular panel. Pop two top fire sticks in and you are up and running. More challenging is Vindicators - which requires rotate buttons on each stick plus 1-2 fire buttons. On the modular panel you can do it with a top fire on the left and converted PC "tron" style (8 way, 3 button) stick on the right. Takes a little practice to rotate the turret and tank at the same time, but great fun. |

I LOVED Assault. My Dad's office was near a convienience store on the Oregon State University campus that had one. I would have my mom drop me off at the comic book store, and after I was done there, I would walk up to catch a ride home with my dad and if I had time I was in that store playing Assault and munching on Mexi Fries from the Taco Time next door. Ahhhh.... memories. :) They have the sticks at Happ Controls. I'd love to buy a real machine someday though...:) |

Theese work great for vindicators also ;D A modular panel does make it easier though...I tried different ways to have just a swappable stick, but that really doesn't work too well. |

I have 3 buttons wired up. (I'll post some picts this weekend) A Raider Pro would work just as well, but I happened to have an old Wingman laying around that I did not need anymore. |
