There was this flea market in town that had a small arcade. well when they cleaned up the area and tore down the building they set out a crystal castle well lucky for me i ended up with it. It's pretty beat up and sat out in the weather till i could get someone to open the gate up so i could grab it so I'll have to fix it up a little. when i was going over the wiring it all looks fine but there's one blown fuse so tomarrow i'm off to get a fuse for it and plug it in to see if it works. LET"S HOPE SO. So now I'm adding restoring this Crystal Castle machine to my list of arcade projects. |

Cool, hope that gets it going. I love to hear stories like this, I hope I get lucky like that one day. |

well went and got a fuse for it today put it in and turned it on and I got sound....Horray :D....but then looked up at the monitor and it was dark ??? went to adjust the brightness and that's when I discovered a crack on the circuit board for the monitor >:( well now looks like I'm in the market for a monitor... but will continue to fix it up.... |

If you just NOTICED the crack, then it is likely on the neckboard. Fix it. It should be cake, I have fixed several broken neckboards. Or, you can buy a neckboard that isn't broken, but frankly, it will be harder to rerun all those wires than it will be to just fix the broken neckboard. |

it's about cracked in half...I'll look at it again tomarrow. Thanks. Replacing the neckboard should be cheaper :) |
