Does anyone have one of these:

Do they work well?
It should still work if i use a PS/2 - USB adapt. right?
Any help on this would be great.
Thanks.
*EDIT:
Sorry if this is redundant ... the search isn't working for me right now

If you get one of these, I'd suggest getting the booster kit from Groovy Game Gear http://www.groovygamegear.com/cgi/surfshop/shop.cgi?ud=U0tHMFFJRDdMWSUlJSUlJTEwODU2Nzk5MTIA&storeid=1&cols=1&categories=0025&&c=detail.htm&itemid=TBOOSTIMP3
This is basically a replacement set of encoder wheels. The ones that come in the TB are plastic and the kit are precision metal. This enhancement improves the performance of the TB.
And yeah you can use a USB adapter with it.
Hope it helps,

These trackballs are great. I've had zero problem with accuracy or durability with them straight out of the box. You may want to get it in-hand and drive it for a while before deciding whether to "upgrade" the parts.

I have one. It's a fantastic trackball. Mine seems to work perfectly with the stock encoder wheels.

I have bought two of them.
They work great and I have had no problems with the encoder wheels at all.
I use them in PS/2 mode.
The two I bought did come with thin washers btween the top and bottom halves. Their was a lot of play in the ball, it could lift up off the rollers a little bit depending on how you hit them, I rmoved the washers and that took care of the looseness.
