| Control Panel - Sloped or Flat? |
| << < (2/3) > >> |
| GamingGreg:
Mine has about 20o of slope which is more than most, but I also have two rows of controls, so it works for that. I think you need a little slope to be more ergonomic. I played around with a "cardboard prototype" for a while to make sure it felt right, before committing it to wood. |

I'm 6'2" so I wasn't sure if I should slope it or not. In terms of the woodworking, I think it would be easier and faster to make rotating panels with a flat surface but I wasn't sure if after all that work I'd hate the fact that it doesn't rotate properly or feel right. I'm planning on making each panel 32" wide and 16" deep. Hopefully I won't have to redo this too many times. |

If possible, mine will be sloped enough to prevent anyone from setting a glass of Kool-aid on my CP... |
