SkateDetroit:

::looks around:: did someone say Virtua Fighter?!

My own personal machine has a Nanao medium res that I have a sneaking suspicion is actually dual switchable res. My friends cab came with a Hantranex that I know for sure is dual switchable. His is clearly labled with a tab attached to the cable you move to change the resolution.

Virtua Fighter boards are easily had on  Ebay, and since it's not emulated properly you should really consider fixing that bad boy ;)

I'm partial to the game. Becareful moving it around! 450 Lbs!!!

As far as I know most of the VF cabs do not have a switchable monitor, they are med res only.  Obviously you should confirm this before buying.

I have a switchable monitor in my "NBA on NBC" cabinet.  Unofruntally its not clearly labeled.  Found out there is a jumper plug and two sockets.  The jumper on one socket makes it med res, unplug, and replug into the other socket and its now std res.  The jumper plug just has wires that loop back into itself.

If you nano doesn't have this its probably not switchable.

Superdude:

You probably have a Nanao Monitor in there.  I have had 3 virtua fighter games and they all had the switchable Nanao Monitors.  High = Med  Low=Standard.  Can't miss it!!!

I just got a Sega cab today which has a WG K7193 in it
