AdvanceMenu inspired FE that works on XP?

Hey guys. I just found the page for AdvanceMenu and it looks niiice. Unfortunately it doesn't support NT/2K/XP. I tried compiling a new copy to get rid of the OS version checking but setting up the enviroment proved to be too much work.

Now I am looking for a frontend that works on XP, but looks like this:

I am using GLaunch right now and I really like it, but the developer doesn't seem to be interested in implementing something like this (and I don't blame him, must be an awful lot of work).

So, any suggestions?

edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I also toyed with the idea of installing Linux on my cab, but I use the computer for other things also (Play DVDs, Word, Web, etc.) and setting those up has taken me to long to simply discard them.

TIA.

Actually that is pretty easy to make in an fe. I think Ed from arcadefx showed some wip pics of a similar layout for arcadefx...I don't know if that made it into his last release.... Also Emuwizzard has an image browser view that is a bit similar to that...

Howard_Casto:

You can actually make a skin like that for rd too, I just didn't make one because personally that seems like a very akward way of browsing.

Thanks to both of you for the info.

)p(: That FE is OK, but I really wish it could be configured a bit more. The source is supposed to be available but the sourceforge page has nothing. I've emailed the author, to see what's going on.

Howard: I've downloaded RD and it is very nice. Except I've been trying to do create a menu like the one I mentioned and I can't seem to understand how you can add several screenshots on the menu at the same time. Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but the skinner app only lists one screenshot at a time.

Also, the documentation directory has a .doc explaining how to create the list of all the games but  there is no List Gen executable included.

Thanks again.

Of course, I found it right after I posted.

It was one of the types of list.

Sorry about that.
