--- Quote from: rdagger on May 17, 2004, 02:20:29 am ---I checked out Outwater's web page at the silver and chrome in 5/8 and 3/4". It states the minimum order is 250 feet. Also you may want to consider that the metallic sizing is not a true 5/8 or 3/4". You could have some wood showing if the molding is to narrow and I don't think you can trim the metallic moldings if it is too fat. If you buy the silver post a picture. --- End quote --- Yeah, I wasn't sure about that. At one point it said min order 250ft, at another it said $25. Still haven't had an email from them, guess I'm small fry. t-molding's chrome is clear with a chrome layer, then a top clear layer, so it can't be trimmed. My timber is 18.6mm wide, that leaves 0.5mm overhang on each side, not unacceptable. |

--- Quote ---Finally, any Aussies want some moulding and want to split the shipping? --- End quote --- For all you other aussie's out there you can get t-moulding from Galvin's Hardware in Western Australia and South Australia. A friend of mine bought some a while back and it was about $2.50 a metre... There web site is: http://www.galvins.com.au/Hardware/index.html |
