creating hyperlinks properly
mmmPeanutButter:
I know this isn't specifically a BYOAC question, but I've got to ask cause I see it all the time on these boards and I don't know how to do it.
I know how to do huperlinks with the hyperlinks button, but then you see the whole website name in the post.
I heard about Happ Controls from this post
and when you click on "Happ Controls", their website comes up
and when you click on "this post", the pst comes up.
I think this would really help me post cleanly. Thanks for your help.
SirPeale:
You have to use the URL tag in a certain way.
--- Code: ---I heard about [url=http://www.happcontrols.com]Happ Controls[/url] from [url=http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=7;action=post;threadid=19191]this post[/url]
--- End code ---

Amazing. Thanks Peale ;D

Can you please tell me where you get the information to put into the URL tag for the 'this post'? I don't see that information displayed anywhere.

Lower left corner of your browser window, where it shows you the link location. You can right-click a thread title and copy the link location to use it in a post.
