CPS-2 Menu?

I know I should probably know this already but.... when using MAME how do you enter the menu where you can change the difficulty level and amount of coins per credit in cps-2 games like SFA 3 and such?  It's not the menu by pressing tab.  I've been using WinKawaks for these games till recently but I want to switch them over to MAME.  Thanks!

I think you want the service menu - in MAME the default key is F2.
