Button Wiring

SalmonKing:

After a long break, I am getting back into this cabinet to finish it off.   ;D

I'm down to the last couple of bits & pieces, but one thing I'm unsure on is how to do the following.  I have 4 buttons that need to act as Player 1's button 1 (as well as 4 buttons each for button 2 & 3).

How do I go about wiring these to my I-Pac?  I'm sure I don't chain them like the ground wires, so how can I get all 4 wires into the 1 point?

Thanks,

SalmonKing.

Apollo:

Just shove them all in there or best method is to use a terminal strip, 4 wires in, 1 wire out to the IPAC.

Thanks for the reply!

I wasn't too keen on the 'shoving them all in there' method (which is what I was thinking of), so I'll have a look at the terminal strip option.   ;D

I would vote for the terminal strip too. Although you might be able to shove them all in, the terminal strip would probably cause less headaches.

And P.S. - thats a lot of buttons for P1B1... what's your CP gonna look like?

This is it here : http://www.jaix.com.au/arcade/Img_0355.jpg

So, buttons 1, 2 & 3 to the left & right of the trackball & spinner.  I'm catering for both left & right handed players (I'm a lefty myself, as is the missus).
