My only gripe about the book is the use of Lusid's design.

Personally I think it's a bit vague for the first timer and difficult to follow along with.  I know I got lost and then bored reading the build chapter ... not enough step by step pics (... I know the CD makes up for that with the UAII plans which are 10x better when it comes to detail).

Just my opinion but I think the "Vectoraster Project" plans are best out there for the first time cabinet builder (every bit as good as the UAII plans with a ton of pictures and commentary to follow along with on the website which makes building so much simplier).  Plus it's the only site that I've come across that covers the mounting of a WG D9200 in depth which is great.

Still a great read  8)

That's just my two cents  :)

The book includes the UA II plans??????????

Cisco Kid:
yup  ;D (cheaper to buy the book than buying the plans from mameroom.com ... weird huh)

Mameroom is making up for that though with the pre-cut kits (CNC routed pieces out of 5/8" MDF ... predrilled holes too ... very similar to the StikSlik cabinet kits with more options)

That's why I ordered a couple of arcade related books, so the cost of shipping to Australia although higher for 5 books, was far cheaper per book.

JAZ:
yeah I got a couple of others too
