Hope there is a page about how to search the forums before you post your question about how to layout your buttons or why isn't Golden Tee 2005 in Mame?

Yah, I'm not sure why Amazon has been slow on the update.  BN's had it for a while now.

I've ordered a fair number of DVD concerts from amazon, and I've always been impressed with the quality of the packaging, and the speed of delivery.  I ordered mine today, so I hope they keep up that level of service for this one that actually counts!

I ordered the book from bn.com on May 3rd and got it the afternoon of the 7th.  The book is laid out very well.  There is an impressive amount of info on the CD as well.

Thank you.

I went to the local Barnes and Noble yesterday and picked up a copy of the book. I really like the way it looks, the layout, and the fact that there are a ton of pictures explaining things. I'll start reading it this week, but it looks great.

Received mine from BN.com yesterday afternoon!  Haven't had a chance to do more than flip through it, but at the very least the pictures of construction look helpful.  ;D

Amazon shipped mine on the 7th, so should get it sometime this week.  I'm very excited to take a look at it (was at BN the other day, but trying not to look at it until I actually have one of my own in my very own hands)  :)

Got mine today too, and that was to Canada, AND they had a problem because I hadn't renewed the expiry date on my cc.  In fact it says on the tracking that I will get it on may 20-27th.  I can't complain about the shipping, that's for sure.

I had no idea there would be so much material in this book, I was expecting a sort of magazine-ish publication, but this is heavy duty.  Now I have something to read this summer by the pool.  Most excellent work John (or should I call you Mr St, Clair: published author!) I wonder if I'll actually learn how to properly do a cabinet for once! :)

Hiya all,

I've been reading here for quite some time, so I had to get the book. Which turned up this arvo.

One quirk though, I swear I read that the book included a cut down version of the Ultimate Arcade II plans? This is one of the main reasons why I bought it. Have I just over looked it?

I appologise, I read through things properly and found them.  ;D

Saint,

All I can say is the book is FANTASTIC.  Extremely well organized and goes into such great detail, I really appreciate all the hard work that you (and your family) put into this.  It's a great way to introduce people to the hobby. Thanks again.

I got my two copies from Amazon yesterday.  Not too bad considering I'm in Australia.

My local B&N FINALLY got a few copies of the book, and I grabbed it the second I saw it.  I'm only 30 or so pages in, but already I'm very impressed.

Congrats Saint, you can really see all the work that went into this book.  I can't wait to get through the whole thing, I'm sure I'll learn a lot.

Hello...I'm new to the comm. I've been here a time or two as a guest for ideas on my cabinet(s) I'm working on...I stumbled on Saint's book at B&N and bought it...just got done reading it and I'd have to say a job well done. It was great finding some of the answers I needed in there...

so great job on the book...and i'm sure i'll be in and out of here quite a lot as I build my cabinet(s)
