| Knob on new power supply? - Thanks! |
| (1/2) > >> |
| Snakebyte:
So the power supply on my Capcom Bowling decides to die. No problem! I'll just order a replacement from Bob Roberts... I get my new power supply and it has this knob on it, obviously for some sort of voltage adjustment. My old power supply didn't have one. So the two questions are: Does it make a difference if my old one has a knob or not? and What is the knob for? High quality illustration below: |

Firstly no it doesn't make any difference and secondly the knob is usually a pot to vary the output of the +5V connection between 4V and 6V. |

So I need to set that pot at 5V then since the old one had no adjustment? |
| Ken Layton:
Your old one had an adjustment trimpot, too. It's recessed in the hole above the terminal strip. |
| Apollo:
Just set it to half way and you'll be fine. |
