Scan Converter to Arcade monitor...
« on: July 24, 2002, 02:15:13 pm »
Thought I'd post a new thread here, in the hopes that someone out there who knows what they're doing can help me! I've got my cabinet all but finished. The only problem left is getting the picture from my PC to correctly display on my Wells Gardner U2000 monitor (std res) that came with the cabinet I've refurbished. I run the VGA out to a AverKey 300 Gold scan converter (have heard some of you have used AverKey in past) hooked my PC monitor to the VGA passthru, and then have the R, G, B, and CSync signals (used pinout from http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/circuits/vga2tv/rgb_commercial.h) from the SCART out on the converter to a Video Amp (like Andy Warne sells @ http://www.ultimarc.com) then to a JAMMA fingerboard and into the JAMMA connector. All I get on the screen when it should be showing something is a black fuzz. Not snow, just black fuzz. Any help would be appreciated!!!
