Hi My cabs t-molding has some minor scratches and instead of re doing it all I was wondering if I could sand them out with a light paper like 250? any suggestions? thanks JIM |
| menace:
a 400 grit wet sand followed by a buffing should do it--you could also just try the buffing by itself with some buffing compound. |

Hey Ok bare with me.. ehehe... I can go buy sand paper at the store, no problem. But what is buffing compound? where would I find that? which section of a store? any certain kind I need to get? how is it applied. thanks JIM Silly newbie I am!! ;D |
| Stingray:
You can get it at an auto parts store. Don't know how well this would work on plastic though. T-molding is cheap enough. If the scratches bother you that bad it would be quicker and easier to just replace it. -S |
