| Wingman Warrior spinner with MAME32 |

I recently scored a Logitech Wingman Warrior (gameport/serial version). I use the Wingman Profiler driver software in Windows 98 (doesn't work in XP) with MAME32 0.67 and 0.81. I noticed movement is linear, there is no acceleration if the dial is spun more rapidly -- this makes the spinner worthless with games such as Arkanoid or Tempest. How can I make the Wingman Warrior spinner act more like a mouse? Is there a ctrlr file for the Wingman Warrior? Has anyone achieved a perfect setting for this spinner? I heard a few people use WW as a basis for MAME cabinets, so I would like to hear if you managed to get optimal play comfort. |

Hey, what version of the wingman driver are you using? I suggest you use the old one. like LES23. I went to ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/ but I couldn't find a file called anything like that. Is there another website I can get it from? ??? |

ahhh. you need to use the older version for it to work right. Check your PM. I'll get the driver to you. ;D |
