can the same approach be used to duplicate the player 1 and 2 joysticks and controls onto a long end of a cocktail cabinet to be able to play horizontal games side-by-side? |

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. |

let me try to explain... i want to build a cocktal cab based on the regular pacman cocktail cab (it is basically rectangular) player 1 & 2 sit facing each other at the two "short ends" taking turns to play. the monitor is mounted in the table so it appears vertically orientated to each player. Each player will have one joystick and 3 buttons in this position. This setup allows games for vertical monitors to be played. To enable play of horizontal games i want to also have both players able to sit side by side on one "long side" of the table. this will enable beat-em-ups to be played. each player will have 1 joystick and 6 buttons. here is an example of the kind of thing i want to do... http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=16432 i assume that i can have this CP setup using an IPAC2 as setup is still effectively only a 2 joystick machine? |
