I was wondering what other people did in refernce to storing your gun/guns and in dealing with thier cords?  Did you have a recoil system that pulled the cord for the gun back inside the cabinet?  Or did you have a usb porton the sideof the cabinet and the gun plugged directly into that?

If you had a usb port on the sideof the cabinet how did you keep the USB plug from falling out?  Did you use plastic guards or something like that?

Thanks

Don't remember who did them, but two things I've seen are -

Someone made a holster on the side of the cab for the guns, but I don't know if that's what you're asking.

Someone else got the USB ports that come on a bracket to go to an expansion slot, and modded the bracket to bolt to the cab.

Just a suggestion since I don't have any guns on  mine ... but if I had I'd try to use something like the recueil systems used by some vacum cleaners for the power cord ...  :)

Rocky:

Awhile back someone tried to make a custom jack for the gun so they could simply unplug it when not in use. It didn't work because there is something that the Act-lab gun needs to stay connected or it reverts to calibrate mode.

I was hoping to do something like this, but gave up when I heard that news.

I run the gun out the front of the cab through the coin box door. When I'm not using it, it sits in the coin box and no one knows it's there.

Metimbo:

I made a holester for mine out of rubber edging found at Home Depot.

I cut a hole in the side of my cab under the cp.  I cut the cord to the gun and VERY CAREFULLY, re-connected everything, including the silver sheath-type stuff.
Works great.
