Enter Numpad Enter....?

Anyone else seeing this in Mame 0.60 or 0.61? In a ton of games, when I try to remap a button to use the Enter key, it comes back saying I mapped it as "Enter Numpad Enter"....pretty much making it unusable unless I press both of those Enter keys together or something.  Anyways, is this a bug or I just stupid?

I bet you have the game paused.  For the enter keys, the ctrl keys, and the alt keys, you should not have the game paused when assigning them to inputs.
