| t-molding: happ vs. t-molding.com |

Just thought I would pass this along... I just put the T-molding on my cab, all the way around both the side panels. I used 3/4" smooth black. I did one side with a roll from Happ and the other side with a roll from t-molding.com. There is a difference between the two, and the t-molding.com stuff looks much smoother and has a more consistant surface. The Happ stuff has a little bit if a ridge in the middle and for some reason I couldn't get it flattened down as consistantly. I had assumed t-molding is t-molding, but there is some differences between suppliers. Also - I had pretty good luck using a rolling pin to install it. I just rolled along with a lot of pressure and it slipped right into the slot. |

I have to agree. So far t-molding.com has the best quality I've seen.. I had some small inconsistencies w/ Happ black t-molding before. Just my $0.02 |

I just ordered smooth orange t-molding from t-molding.com, and smooth black t-molding from Happs and have installed it on identical pieces of 3/4" MDF. The t-molding.com stuff fits perfect and installed perfect (into 1/16" slot). The Happs stuff was difficult to install (didn't want to squeeze as easily into the 1/16" slot) and wasn't exactly 3/4", some of the edge of the wood shows (just a little, less than 1/16" for example, and is inconsistent at that). I would have to say the t-molding.com stuff has worked out better for me too. |

I was just going to order some 5/8" chrome T-Molding from Happ and now I am reluctant. :-\ I looked at T-molding.com but they only had the chrome in 3/4". |
