1" Thick Cocktail Top
Lilwolf:
If you make it non standard size...
don't expect to find glass clips for them. You will have to have something made for you. Also T-Molding prices will more then double.
just a note... heard others complain about it years past.

I THINK I remember seeing 1" at Home Depot; but I'm not sure if the TRUE size was a little either side of that because I didn't measure it.
It was in the aisle with the melamine, and was laminated together like butcher block.
NOTE: For those who are new to all this, the size listed on most materials is a "nominal" size.
The ACTUAL size varies.
The plywood listed as 3/4" is NOT 3/4", it's usually more like 23/32".
I edited the values above

I think your numbers are off. 11/32 isn't even 1/2" it's more like 1/3 of an inch.
froggerman:
I there is a place that sells marine plywood in your area you might try there. 1" is a very common size of marine plywood.

I glued 2 pieces of 1/2" together. I just bought one big piece and cut it in half bunch of wood glue clamps and some heavy stuff on top to get a good bind. Worked just fine cut the t molding slot and cant even tell the difference. 1" tmolding is a little more expensive but you dont need that much for just the top part.
