Personally I think there is way too much use of wooden control panels going on here. It is pretty cheap to get a 1.5mm mild steel flat panel made up and drill or punch the holes yourself. If we are going for realism here folks then steel control panels are the way to go don't ya think? |

You need to bend and weld things to it to make sturdy enough and look good. Especialy getting rid of those ugly bolts on top of the panel is a lot harder with a metal CP. Sure, if you can pay for it or have access to the proper equipment (and skills to handle them) they are much better, but I doubt that applies to many people. When I see the CP that Stingray made then I wish I could do something like that, but I just can't and I DO want to build it myself. |

I want to thank everyone for the help. I was able to solve the problem and now the joystick doesn't catch and it fits on my cp perfectly. Thanks again |
