Possible excellent MAME cabinets 29" monitor
bryan95502a:
Hi,
I have recently bought a dozen cabinets that have awesome potential to be
MAME cabinets or PC Game cabinets and I wanted to see if there was any
interest in them.
I have built several MAME cabinets including reproducing Midway cabaret
cabinets.
Heres the link to the new cabinets:

Heres a older page of some MAME cabinets I have done:

The Pac Man cabaret was my first MAME, followed by several other generic
cabinets, including the new cabaret cabinets. The 4 player cabinet was built
from scratch and features a 33" monitor
any questions or interest in the new cabs, let me know!
Thanks
Bryan

Those cabinets are pretty cool... The marquee is a little too large for my tastes, but I'd take one in a heartbeat if the price was right and I was located near you.
~edit: WTF are those things on the CP?
SaiNRuB:
Wow, thats really cool.
Was this Agora Interactive planning on multiple games for this cabinet our was the specifically for one game?
And also, the second 12"-14" monitor is the actual marquee display? In the words of Carl of ATHF " Thats freaking awesome!"
Id love to see more pics of the construction of the control panel for this cabinet. Id like to see how its all bundled under there.

I'm very intrested in this as well? What was the purpose? Long distance flight sim dog fights?
bryan95502a:
The cabinets were to play many PC based games, They featured their own operating system and could be remotely upgraded.
The concept of the marquees is quite unique and I have been looking into using it in a MAME configuration.
I cant say enough about the quality of these cabinets. They have metal CPs, wheels and very nice leg levelers. Quality construction al the way. They have a nice color scheme and feature a silver faux metallic laminate on the sides.
If you have ever built a cabinet from scratch you will know what money and time you can spend on one! :)
I will take some pictures of the control panel wiring this weekend and post them here.
The control panel have:
the Imperial trackball(ps2)
analog flight stick(gameport serial)
total of 4 buttons( 3 from the trackball as mouse buttons and one extra one)
what were camera controls
some have a flexible microphone on them
industrial super heavy duty keyboard (has all keys except a windows key)
the CPs have laminate on them with the items identified
Thanks everyone, I will be happy to answer any more questions!!
