| Monitor/Surround/Bezel Installation |
| (1/1) |

Hey gang, My project has moved onto the all important monitor installation stage. Could someone be kind enough to point me to a link with installation pics showing the proper way to cleanly rail mount a WG monitor, with surround and 1/4" bezel? Sorry to be sort of vague, I'm more or less looking for some examples. |

If you have a frame (most don't) you can do what I did to mount it: http://www.mamenation.com/images/IMG_1325.JPG http://www.mamenation.com/images/IMG_1324.JPG From what I have seen, most folks without frames use shelves for monitor mounting. I have a back-painted, tinted glass/bezel. It is attached to angle iron with magnetic tape. http://www.mamenation.com/images/IMG_1478.JPG Dave |

Depends on the type of frame you have. You can build a frame of 1X2's around it and let the lip of the metal frame rest on that. You can build a shelf. I had a cab that had a piece of plywood and the center was cut out to match the monitor. The monitor was mounted inside that. Then it had a rail on each side and the plywood rested on that. Pretty simple. If you have a frame that has a base on it, just make a shelf. |
