| How does one install T-nuts? |

I only mention this because I made a similar mistake on a project - You want the T-Nut's mouted on the far side (relative to the bolt) of the panel that they are going in, so the bolt pulls the panel tight. I mounted some to the near side of the panel and the bolt easily pulled the T-nut loose. FWIW! |

For the t-nuts (the spikey kind), I first drilled the spotface using a forstner bit, and then the through hole using a standard twist drill. The bolts were then used to pull the t-nuts into place. seating them nicely below flush. Hammering them into place may be necessary if you're using plywood or similar. |
