Ok, just went hog wild ordering parts for three different projects. I can't believe I ordered $400 in arcade parts in one week, and STILL need to order from Oscar when he reopens his store. 10 rectangle light up buttons (to make my Stepmania panel) 3 8-way top fires (Groovygamegear) A pair of NOS Wico microleafs. a groovygamegear 4-way 3 Ms. Pac/Reunion 4-ways 10 red buttons 10 black buttons 7 blue buttons Some start buttons a couple of keywhiz MAXs. The upgrade kit for my Imperical trackball. Set of cabinet corner protectors. TEN 15 position molex connector kits. 3 sets of PCB mounting feet. 2 wiring kits To go along with ALL that. I also have I-pac. Couple dozen other buttons. pair of Robotron leaf switch Wicos with new handles. New 3" Betson/Imperial trackball with mounting plate. 2 analog baseball sticks. Metal base "universal" 4-way One mechanical rotary stick. Pair of 49 ways. Sega Spinner assembly. Single Wico top fire (leaf) Other stuff I am forgetting. Now, what am I doing with all of it? Two of the Reunion sticks, and one keywhiz are going into a cocktail. The groovygamegear 4-way, one groovy top fire, 4 buttons, I-Pac, and an Oscar spinner are going in a Mame for a customer. ALL the rest can be used on swappable panels for my Defender Mame. So far it has a Defender layout panel on it, and I specially ordered buttons to make a Stepmania panel (dual "Pump" layout). That leaves A LOT of controls for other panels. Specifically. Pair of Robotron sticks. Pair of Wico microleaf. Pair of groovy top fires Pair of 49-ways Pair of analog baseball sticks Ms. Pac 4-way Universal 4-way Sega spinner. 3" trackball Wico topfire. I personally can't even THINK of how to use all of them without duplication. So any suggestion as to how to lay these bad boys out on multiple panels? Assume I have unlimited buttons. |

1. Attach each item onto a padded 4x8 sheet of MDF. You can lay on it and attempt to play 6 games at once through a series a convulted flopping motions. You'd be surprised how many of my friends attempt to play Robotron in a simliar fashion. 2. Attach the leftover controls at various points of likely entry in your home and string twine around them. Wire them all to your IPAC and watch the monitor through terminal services from work. If you see the character "A" pop up on notebook, call the cops man, they just stole your stereo. 3. Make a Mame cabinet large enough to stomp Tokyo into a smoldering wasteland. Let me know if you need more suggestions. |

Follow these few steps, and all your problems will be solved: 1) Find a nice sturdy box. 2) Place parts inside gently. 3) Fill empty space with styrafoam peanuts. 4) Tape box closed. 5) Ship to Haruman! ;D |

Perhaps: Panel #1: Spinner & Topfire Panel #2: Trackball, analog stick, 4-way Panel #3: Dual sticks I can't help wondering why you have all this stuff if you don't know what to do with it? Why not sell the lot, and then buy whatever you really want? |
