This is a noob question but what program can I use to open up those ai files? I downloaded a couple of files and would like to have them printed and made into side art but I can't view them? Thanks for the help. |

ai files = illustrator files. some other programs may open and view it. photshop but it will be rasterized adobe acrobat pdf viewer gimp sketch and some others. |

If you want to open a vector file in GIMP, you must first export it into either .wmf or .psd. |

what is the best kind of file to scan things as? i've got some control panels that i'm gonna scan up as best i can to help the community out. |
