anyone ever tried this Analog Stick to PC gameport ?

I have this one. I ordered it with the 100k pots and the 10 pin serial cable. I've tried to use it several times but can't get MAME to recognize it. Kinda pi$$ed because it wasn't cheap.

If you ordered it with 100K pots you could hook it up to a DB-15 connector and plug it into your PC's gameport. It should be recognized then.

And if you need the connector just buy a cheapo analog PC joystick, you can just transfer the wiring.
