The biggest one is covered up by a small fan. I was hoping there was a 'special' AMD way to access bios that I didn't know about. The help menu was as usual no help. jimmyjet --- End quote --- It's not a brand-name computer, is it? Like a Dell or HP or sth? If not, SIS is the chipset, there should usually be a manufactuer's name on the center of the fan on the biggest chipset. Otherwise, look for silk-screened names and numbers probably near the sides of the board. |

Is this a homemade machine, or is it made by a manufacturer like Dell, HP, or Gateway? Also... does the post screen tell you anything like bios revsion number or manufacturer? |
| jimmyjet:
This is in a HP. This computer starts up so fast, it might say which key to push, but it goes by in a blur. |

Try these: Enter the BIOS: Press F1 repeatedly during the HP boot-up screen for setup. F1 is supposed to be the key to get you into bios setup on most HP's or Enter the BIOS: Press F2 repeatedly during the HP boot-up screen for setup. |

When the HP screen is up, you can usually hit [TAB] to see what's going on in the background. |
