| MDF sawblade? |
| (1/1) |
| crashwg:
Is there a specific type of circular saw blade I should use to cut MDF? I wan't the edges to be as smooth as posible after the cut, so I was thinking maybe a plywood blade, but I don't realy know what I should get. |

I bought a blade that was special for MDF and it sucked. It was slow and dulled after a few cuts. I ended up using a rough cut carbide tipped blade (I think around 22 teeth). After a little practice, I was making straight cuts quickly and with a very smooth edge. Wade |

Get yourself a 60 tooth carbide blade used for smooth and finish cuts. Works great and does not hang or burn the wood like steel blades do. MAKE sure the blade is carbide. |
