Script/program to use a touchscreen to send a keyboard input
(1/1)
leapinlew:
I'm using a touchscreen and no buttons on my latest cabinet (megatouch/touchmaster emulator). I'd like to be able to press and hold down in one of the corners of the monitor to send Escape (or any other key input) to the computer. This will allow me to swap between the two different touchscreen game systems.
I was looking at Autohotkey and scripting something, but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to accomplish this. Or maybe someone had already done the work.

I can refer you to a reverse engineer. Feel free to text coredoxer @ protonmail . com

This seems a front end thing....if you use one here....

I think I'm going to use Auto Hot Key to do this. Seems do-able. Working on it now.

Ask ChatGPT to write a script for you. You may need to substitute "touchscreen" for "mouse click and hold". I was toying with it and got a AHK script baseline in a few seconds.
