Neutral gear in Cruis'n USA

<< < (2/3) > >>

Endprodukt:
Cruis'n World and Offroad Challenge act exactly the same.

San Fracisco Rush can't even set to neutral and has no button assigned in mame.

Cruis'n World and Offroad Challange are the same driver as Cruis'n USA after all :)

Currently wondering on how to approach the issue in the first place.
The current system probably was made so you don't have to constantly "hold" the gear button (like a real shifter would).

Endprodukt:
Model2 emulator has a hold gear option for that. Not sure mame would allow something like that.

BadMouth:
Been out of the loop for a long time, but a solution was added to disable the toggle behavior on the Hi/Lo shifter games.
I do not know if it works in Cruis'n.

It doesn't unfortunately. Actually mame will delete the flag from the cfg after running the game.
